Harvesting delicious, natural honey from San Francisco’s Buena Vista and Golden Gate parks and the Haight-Ashbury district
San Francisco is an amazing place to make honey! The mild Mediterranean climate assures a plentiful year-round source of flowers and flowering trees for bees to gather nectar. Buena Vista Bee is located just east of Buena Vista Park, so — depending on the season — our bees visit everything from sage to California lilac to roses to flowering eucalyptus trees. We take pride in our liquid and pure comb honey, and invite you to enjoy them too!
- Liquid honey is available in glass or convenient plastic squeeze-top bottles. Sizes includes one-half pound (roughly 6 fluid ounces by volume), one pound (12 fluid ounces) or two pounds (23 fluid ounces).
- Comb honey comes in individual 4×4 inch plastic containers that vary in net weight from about 12 ounces of honey and wax together up to about 16 ounces, depending on the particular frame from which it was harvested.
